BYD plans to establish a local assembly plant in Karachi by 2026 and aims to develop a network of charging stations across major cities .

MG expanded its lineup with the locally assembled HS PHEV, boasting a combined output of 260 hp and a claimed fuel efficiency of 58 km/l, and the high-performance Cyberster GT sports car, delivering up to 496 hp and a range exceeding 500 km . Kia introduced the EV5 in Air and Earth variants, offering ranges of 400 km and 500 km, respectively, and the premium EV9 SUV, priced at PKR 43.2 million .
